HW Fisher, part of the Sumer Group, a top 15 accountancy practice, is delighted to announce the appointment of Chris Wheeler as Partner in its Forensic Services team, enhancing the firm’s investigative and litigation support capabilities.
A Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW) and accredited counter fraud specialist, Chris brings over 25 years of experience in financial investigations arising from fraud, error and mismanagement.
Chris joins HW Fisher from UK law firm DWF, where he was Partner and Head of Forensic Accounting, providing in-house support to litigators, insurance lawyers, and regulatory investigators across sectors including financial services, technology, healthcare, energy, real estate, and consumer industries. Prior to this, he led forensic teams at firms including PwC, KPMG, BDO, and Pinsent Masons.
Chris provides expert advisory services to commercial litigators, including damages quantification, expert reporting, and settlement advice, using decision trees to assess the likely costs and benefits of different legal hurdles.
His appointment strengthens HW Fisher’s Forensic Services offering, reinforcing its commitment to delivering expert financial guidance to clients across a breadth of sectors.
