I work in a technical advisory role and assist the audit and accounts team with any technical queries they may have. For accounts, my expertise covers all accounting frameworks used in the UK (IFRS, FRS 101, FRS 102, FRS 102 Section 1A and FRS 105). This helps the audit and accounts teams give the best service to clients by providing them with prompt, factual advice on accounts and disclosure matters.
Where required, I get directly involved with clients on a specific technical matter, for example, on more than one occasion helping prepare company accounts and HFI for a listing.
