I specialise in charity audit and compliance, and work with a wide variety of charities with income up to £30million. My work covers a wide variety of charitable sectors, including international charities, trading subsidiaries, grant making trusts and membership charities.
My aim is to make charity accounts understandable and assist trustees without a background in finance to understand the accounts and their obligations as trustees. I undertake a variety of trustee training events as well as bespoke training for specific Boards.
I also advise on reserves, charity structure, Gift Aid and recovery, governance and provide s124 advice when charities borrow money.
I also train charities to set up and use Quickbooks Online.
I have previously been a trustee at a branch of Parkinsons UK and the British Association for Music Therapy.
