I joined the firm as a graduate trainee in 2016 and trained and qualified as a member of the ICAEW in 2019. I subsequently joined BDO for just under three years where I worked with large, international clients. I returned to HW Fisher in 2021 as an audit manager, progressing to senior manager in 2022 and Director in 2024.
My client portfolio ranges from small to large entities and groups, reporting under UK GAAP and IFRS, and across a variety of industries, including financial services, hospitality, manufacturing and retail, construction, commodities trading, health care and aviation.
My clients include FCA regulated entities, AIM listed entities and LLPs. For the majority of my clients, I assist with the audit, statutory accounts preparation, corporation tax services and provide general business advice. I also have specific experience with business combinations and have recently assisted a number of clients with the accounting of acquisitions.
I am responsible for organising and delivering training to the audit department’s trainees and qualified staff.
I am heavily involved in the recruitment of trainees and qualified members of staff for the audit department.
I also act as a mentor within the firm, which means I am responsible for monitoring my mentees’ progress and ensuring their development within the firm, making myself available to support and advise when required.
