HW Fisher, the top 30 audit and advisory firm has today announced the promotion of four new Partners to bolster its partnership team. As of 1st March 2021, Muneeza Baig, Adam Bonell, Simon Michaels and Lily Montgomery will all be HW Fisher Partners bringing the firm’s total to twenty-six.
Having been at the firm for 20 years, Muneeza Baig specialises in the not-for-profit sector, advising organisations in a variety of areas including arts, disability, religious organisations and independent schools. Muneeza is also actively involved in the development of staff through training and education of the firm’s trainees.
Adam Bonell is part of HW Fisher’s Private Client department, advising a number of businesses and high-net-worth individuals and families. He is extremely interested in cross-border tax matters and has helped establish the firm’s expatriate function. In his new role as Partner, Adam will focus on helping to grow the international tax advisory practice of HW Fisher.
Simon Michaels joined HW Fisher in October 2018 and is an expert on the SME market, having worked across many industries and service sectors during his career. Due to his past role as a Chief Financial Officer, Simon has extensive experience enabling him to advise SME companies on every aspect of their business life cycle. Currently Simon’s work includes looking after three companies which have benefited from an investment from the TV show Dragon’s Den.
Lily Montgomery has worked in the Audit team at HW Fisher since August 2008. Having joined HW Fisher as a graduate, Lily then completed her training and qualifications at the firm. She has a large portfolio of clients across a range of different sectors, including, property, retail and hospitality. In 2020 Lily took on an additional role as Senior Manager in the HR team. Lily also acts as a mentor to new joiners as well as being responsible for the recruitment of all trainees (ACA & AAT) at the firm.
