London, 7 January 2026 – HW Fisher, part of the Sumer Group, a top 12 accountancy practice, is pleased to announce a series of senior promotions in its audit and tax teams, strengthening the firm’s offering in key growth areas.
Dean Stevens has been promoted to Partner within HW Fisher’s audit practice. With over 13 years of audit experience, the last eight of which he has spent with HW Fisher, Dean is an expert practitioner in media and entertainment services, as well as hospitality, property, professional services and manufacturing. Dean maintains a client-focused approach to his role, delivering end-to-end solutions for a wide range of business needs, including statutory accounts, audit and tax support, and general business advice.
Rebecca Galbraith-Lowe has also been promoted to audit Partner at HW Fisher. She originally trained and qualified as a member of the ICAEW with the firm, and rejoined HW Fisher five years ago, bringing with her a wealth of experience with large, international entities and groups. She works with a wide range of clients, across industries including financial services, hospitality and entertainment, manufacturing, retail, construction, healthcare and music. Along with audit and statutory account preparation, Rebecca has expertise is supporting clients through business acquisitions. She is also responsible for looking after people matters for the firm’s audit team, including the recruitment and development of trainees and qualified members of staff.
HW Fisher can also announce the promotion of Neil Maslen to Director in the firm’s private client tax team. As the affairs and requirements of high-net-worth individuals become increasingly complex, Neil is an expert in providing tailored solutions and sound advice to those needing support navigating the UK tax system. Neil has over a decade of tax experience, half of which was spent with HMRC; his promotion underscores the growth of HW Fisher’s private client team and sets the department up well for the new laws set to come into force in 2026.
