How have you had to adapt as a business this year?
We quickly adapted and launched our e-commerce website in May which has made it easier for customers to place orders online to increase our D2C (direct to consumers) market.
What advice would you give to businesses looking to start in 2021?
Take a risk and give your entrepreneurial side a real chance! But not without making sure you crunch your numbers very well to ensure it is a viable business plan. Speak to others in the industry for troubleshooting and help – you will be surprised at what a community you can surround yourself with. Finding time isn’t always easy when you have a full-time job but you can do it if you really want to!
Do you think Covid-19 will change the way people shop?
Most definitely Covid-19 has and will continue to change customer spending habits. Now more than ever people have realised how easy online shopping really is which has been great for our e-sales! But equally we think it’s vital for businesses and their products to engage with their clientele in person!
What about Brexit? Will this change the way you operate?
Brexit may lead to increased costs for us as a business. At least in the short term it seems! But our operations will not be disturbed.
What are you most looking forward to in 2021?
Our monthly chocolate subscriptions! We will be launching this in 2021 and we are super excited about this. There will be an ever-changing selection of flavours!
